Chris Walsh
Chief Executive Officer

Chris Walsh is the Chief Executive Officer of AcadiaSoft. Chris has over 25 years of leadership experience in the financial services technology sector. He previously served as a Senior Vice President with NYSE Technologies and ran its buy side services and solutions group. Prior to joining NYSE, Chris was at NYFIX where he served as both Head of OMS Division and the Strategy function. Prior to NYFIX, he was CEO of Radius Partners, which he co-founded, grew, and subsequently managed the acquisition by FundTech. Chris has also been a senior executive at Thomson Financial, where among other accomplishments he was instrumental in building the Thomson ESG and, subsequently, Omgeo business.

Scott Petersen
Chief Financial Officer

Scott Petersen is the Chief Financial Officer for AcadiaSoft. Scott has an extensive background in securities operations, banking, finance and management consulting that spans over 25 years. Scott was in operations management, capital markets and finance at BankBoston and BancBoston Robertson Stephens where he attained his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. Prior to that, Scott was a management consultant and auditor at Coopers & Lybrand where he earned his CPA. Scott has served as the Chief Financial Officer at two different start-ups: SS Solutions, an investment holdings entity in the wireless industry of Aether Systems (1999 IPO); and peanutpress.com, an e-book publishing company based Massachusetts (acquired by netLibrary in 2000).

Scott Lorimer
Chief Technology Officer

Scott Lorimer is the Chief Technology Officer of AcadiaSoft. Scott has over 25 years of product development experience in the financial services sector. Scott previously co-founded Radius Partners, a software and services provider in the post-trade space. Scott oversaw the acquisition of Radius Partners to the publicly traded company, FundTech. Prior to that, he was a co-founder of Aether Systems, a wireless data software provider which went public in 2000 and subsequently raised $2.3 billion to acquire a portfolio of companies in the wireless data space. Scott has also held product and service development roles at Charles Schwab & Co.

David Radley
Director of Sales & Marketing

David Radley is Director of Sales & Marketing at AcadiaSoft Inc. He joined the company in 2009 after spending 18 years working at Computacenter where over time he held a variety of Senior Management positions managing clients across Telcoms, Insurance, Oil & Gas, Information Technology and Finance. This role allowed him to gain value experience delivering Global Outsource contacts, Vendor Relationships, Business Transformation and Client Support.

Mark Demo
Head of Industry and Strategy

Mark D. Demo. is Head of Industry & Strategy at AcadiaSoft. Mark has more than 20 years’ experience in the OTC Derivatives market and has served as a co-chair of the ISDA Collateral Steering Committee. He has participated on ISDA working groups and has been involved in developing changes in collateral operations associated with financial regulations under Dodd Frank and EMIR. Mark is a collateral subject matter expert who is now overseeing AcadiaSoft’s robust working group, client and prospect engagement programs. Mark also oversees AcadiaSoft’s interactions with global regulators.

Scott Fitzpatrick
Director of Collateral Business and Client Operations

Scott Fitzpatrick is the Director of Collateral Business and Client Operations for AcadiaSoft. Scott has spent the last 20 years working in the Financial Technology sector, primarily focused on community-based solutions. Prior to joining AcadiaSoft, he was the Chief Operating Officer of NYFIX at the New York Stock Exchange. Here he led the transition of NYFIX from the New York Stock Exchange to HG Capital. He had joined NYFIX in 2007 to run their global FIX based routing service. Prior to joining NYFIX, Scott spent 13 years with Thomson Financial in various roles working with their Institutional Trading solutions.

Fred Dassori
Head of Strategic Development

Fred Dassori leads AcadiaSoft’s strategic initiatives business. Before joining, Fred spent 13 years working in financial services. Most recently he was head of automated rates trading at Credit Suisse and president and CEO of Wake USA LLC, a joint venture between Credit Suisse and Tower Research Capital focused on automated market making of fixed income products. Prior to that, Fred held various roles in investment banking strategy, corporate development, and equity research at Credit Suisse, and represented Credit Suisse as a board member and advisor in a range of financial technology investments and strategic partnerships.

Richard Barton
Head of Strategic New Product Development

Richard Barton is responsible for AcadiaSoft’s new product development programs, and is currently responsible for its Agreement Manager service. Richard has 20 years Collateral Management experience working within Banking and as a Software Vendor. Starting in Collateral in the late 90’s at ABN Amro he implemented, customized and supported their Collateral Margin solution globally for Repo and OTC derivative Agreements. As a Software Vendor with the Sentry/Algo/IBM/SmartStream Collateral Solution he held positions in Singapore, United Kingdom and United States setting up and managing Professional Services, Support, Pre-Sales, Product Management and Development teams. More recently Richard has been focused on the role of Collateral Hubs/Utilities as a model for managing Margin and Collateral.

Laura Craft
Marketing Director

Laura Craft is Marketing Director at AcadiaSoft, joining in 2018 and is responsible for communications, public relations and marketing strategy. Prior to this, Laura spent 8 years as Director of Equities & Fixed Income Product Strategy Traiana (now NEX Group) where she was responsible for expanding Traiana’s post-trade capabilities into the securities space. Earlier in her career, Laura spent 10 years at Omgeo (now DTCC) where she managed the development of marketing strategy and programs for the firm’s post-trade processing solutions. Laura started her career at Risk Magazine, Incisive Media’s specialist derivatives journal.

John Pucciarelli
Director of Strategic Initiatives

John Pucciarelli joined AcadiaSoft in 2019 as Director of Strategic Initiatives. John is leading AcadiaSoft’s outreach to IM phase 5 firms building on his knowledge and experience. John was previously with The International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) as Director of Market Infrastructure and Technology. John led margin and collateral Initiatives for the ISDA membership overseeing the implementation of the initial phases of the non-cleared margin rules from an operations and business perspective.
Prior to joining ISDA, John was with AQR Capital Management where he oversaw their middle office operational functions. Earlier on in his career, John worked for UBS Investment Bank where he supervised their US Equity Prime Brokerage Operations team.

Steve Peden
Director of Technology Operations

Steve Peden is the Director of Technology Operations for AcadiaSoft. Steve has over a 20 years of solution development experience in Banking, Trading Systems and Financial Services. Prior to this Steve was recognized for leading cloud-platform initiatives at Microsoft. During his tenure at Omgeo, Steve was responsible for a half billion-dollar business as the head of global partners, and led the team to create the offshore development operations. Previously, he was co-founder of Application Service Provider Breakaway Solutions, helping grow the company from 53 employees through a $440 million IPO.

Kim Goldthwaite
Director of Human Resources

Kim Goldthwaite is Director of Human Resources at AcadiaSoft. Kim joined AcadiaSoft in September 2018 and is responsible for global hiring, employee benefits programs, and training and development. Kim has over 15 years’ experience in HR, most recently as HR Director at Blueport, Inc. a Massachusetts based technology company where she had full responsibility for all HR related tasks including employee relations and staffing strategy. Prior to that, Kim spent over six years at Fibertec, Inc. and has worked in HR for Fidelity Investments and Acer Inc. She started her career at John Hancock in Boston. Kim holds a SPHR Certificate from the HRCI Institute.

John Shay
Chairman

John Shay founded and serves as Managing Partner at Capital Market
Services Inc., a wholly-owned clearing and execution services business
designed to improve market access for algorithmic strategy hedge funds in
the over-the-counter and exchange-traded space.
Since 2007, Shay has been part of the Virtu family of businesses. He along with Virtu Founder Vinnie
Viola created the market’s first OTC Interest Rate Clearing DCO called IDCG. That business was sold to
LCH in 2012 and included NDAQ as its majority shareholder.
From 2012 to 2016 Shay served as Senior Vice President for Global Markets at Virtu Financial, where he
was responsible for managing outside venue, vendor and trading relationships, focused on fixed income,
commodities, and currencies. He currently advises the CEO on all matters FICC related.
He was formerly a member of the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee (TBAC 2014 – 2016), TMPG,
FXPA and a Main Board member of LCH group.
In 2016, John Shay joined Nasdaq as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Fixed Income and
Commodities. In this role, Shay was responsible for leading the global commodities and fixed-income
areas within Nasdaq’s Global Trading and Market Services business. This included U.S. Treasuries, global
commodities, and in the Nordic and Baltic markets, he was responsible for fixed income, clearing, and
broker services activities.
He is an active public speaker and is often quoted in major global FICC publications. He is also a panelist
and moderator at numerous industry conferences as well as an advisor to the US Treasury, CFTC, SEC,
FED and Bank of England. He has also testified before the US Congress on Market structure reforms,
most recently July 2017.
Shay earned an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, Columbia University and a B.B.A. from Pace
University’s Lubin School of Business graduating magna cum laude.
