Chris Walsh is the Chief Executive Officer of AcadiaSoft. Mr. Walsh has over 20 years of leadership experience in the financial services technology sector. He previously served as a Senior Vice President with NYSE Technologies and ran its buy side services and solutions group. Prior to joining NYSE, Mr. Walsh was at NYFIX where he served as both Head of OMS Division and the Strategy function. Prior to NYFIX, he was CEO of Radius Partners, which he co-founded, grew, and subsequently saw acquired by FundTech. Mr. Walsh has also been a senior executive at Thomson Financial, where among other accomplishments he was instrumental in building the Thomson ESG &, subsequently, Omgeo business.
Scott Petersen is the Chief Financial Officer for AcadiaSoft. Mr. Petersen has an extensive background in securities operations, banking, finance and management consulting that spans over 25 years. Scott spent ten years in operations management, capital markets and finance at BankBoston and BancBoston Robertson Stephens where he attained his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. Before BankBoston, Scott spent four years as a management consultant and auditor at Coopers & Lybrand specializing in the investment industry where he earned his CPA. Scott has served as the Chief Financial Officer at two different start-ups: SS Solutions, an investment holdings entity in the wireless industry of Aether Systems (1999 IPO); and peanutpress.com, an e-book publishing company based in Maynard Massachusetts (acquired by netLibriary in 2000). Scott founded and served as President and Managing Member of D.R. Development LLC – a real estate development and construction entity. Additional experience includes account management and product services at Brown Brothers Harriman and State Street Bank & Trust Company.
Scott Lorimer is the Chief Technology Officer of AcadiaSoft. Mr. Lorimer has over 25 years of product development experience in the financial services sector. He currently serves as head of development for AcadiaSoft. Prior to this, Mr. Lorimer co-founded Radius Partners, a software and services provider in the post-trade space. Mr. Lorimer oversaw the acquisition of Radius Partners to the publicly traded company, FundTech. Mr. Lorimer was a co-founder of Aether Systems, a wireless data software provider which went public in 2000 and subsequently raised $2.3 billion to acquire a portfolio of companies in the wireless data space. Prior to founding Aether, Mr. Lorimer held product and service development roles at Charles Schwab & Co.
Scott Fitzpatrick is the Director of Collateral Business and Client Operations for AcadiaSoft. Mr. Fitzpatrick has spent the last 18-year working in the Financial Technology sector, primarily focused on community based solutions. Prior to joining AcadiaSoft, he was the Chief Operating Officer of NYFIX at the New York Stock Exchange. Here he led the transition of NYFIX from the New York Stock Exchange to HG Capital. He had joined NYFIX in 2007 to run their global FIX based routing service. Prior to joining NYFIX, Scott spent 13 years with Thomson Financial in various roles working with their Institutional Trading solutions. Scott holds an MBA from the Ellis College of New York Institute of Technology and earned a BS from the University of New Hampshire.
David Radley is Director of Client Engagement at AcadiaSoft Inc. He joined the company in August 2009 after spending 18 years working at Computacenter where over time he held a variety of Senior Management positions managing clients across Telcoms, Insurance, Oil & Gas, Information Technology and Finance. This role allowed him to gain value experience delivering Global Outsource contacts, Vendor Relationships, Business Transformation and Client Support.
The favorite part of his job is face-to-face interaction with clients & mentoring the sales and client service team.
Mark D. Demo is Product Director at Acadiasoft, Inc. Mark has more than 20 years experience in the OTC Derivatives market and has served as a co-chair of the ISDA Collateral Steering Committee. He has participated on ISDA working groups and has been involved in developing changes in collateral operations associated with financial regulations under Dodd Frank and EMIR. Mark is a collateral subject matter expert who is now leading the product steering committee for AcadiaSoft’s project Blazer. Project Blazer is the technology and regulation compliant implementation of an open frame, end-to-end margin processing hub for non-cleared derivatives.
Mr. Demo has a B.S. in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.B.A. from the Columbia Business School.
Richard Barton is responsible for Product Management and Client/Vendor Integration for AcadiaSoft. Richard has 16 years Collateral Management experience working within Banking and as a Software Vendor. Starting in Collateral in the late 90’s at ABN Amro he implemented, customized and supported their Collateral Margin solution globally for Repo and OTC derivative Agreements. As a Software Vendor with the Sentry/Algo/IBM/SmartStream Collateral Solution he held positions in Singapore, United Kingdom and United States setting up and managing Professional Services, Support, Pre-Sales, Product Management and Development teams. More recently Richard has been focused on the role of Collateral Hubs/Utilities as a model for managing Margin and Collateral.
Steve Peden is the Director of Technology Operations for AcadiaSoft. Mr. Peden has over a 20 years of solution development experience in Banking, Trading Systems and Financial Services. Prior to this Mr. Peden was recognized for leading cloud-platform initiatives at Microsoft. At Omgeo, Steve was trusted to run a half-billion dollar business as the head of global partners, and led the team to create the offshore development operations. Previously, Mr. Peden was co-founder of Application Service Provider Breakaway Solutions, helping grow the company from 53 employees through a $440 million IPO. Steve began his career with Misys Banking, and holds a first class honors degree in Computing Science, from the University of Ulster. He is a veteran of the British Military.
Catherine Mannick has been General Counsel of AcadiaSoft, Inc. since January 2011. Prior to joining AcadiaSoft, she served for seven years as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Cole Management Incorporated, a fund targeting technology start-ups in Russia and other emerging markets. From 1996 to 2002, she was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, of The Pioneer Group, Inc., a NASDAQ listed financial services company, and General Counsel of its spin-off, Harbor Global Company Ltd., an OTC listed company that was organized to manage Pioneer’s portfolio of investments in Russia and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining Pioneer, she was a member of the corporate department at Hale and Dorr, LLP and served as international counsel at Bank of Boston.
Ms. Mannick holds a B.A. in Russian Studies from Yale University, an M.A. in History from Harvard University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was on the editorial board of the Harvard International Law Journal.
As the first AcadiaSoft employee, Alex has helped bring the company from original platform prototypes to the current industry solution in place today; he has been a core contributor to all product development to date that AcadiaSoft offers to its clients. During his stewardship he has been crucial in the build out of the MarginSphere platform, bringing together the world’s largest Brokers and Investment Managers, working hand-in-hand with their development, network and operations teams from project inception to completion.
Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
As a founding member of the AcadiaSoft team since its inception in 2009, Mr. Peterson has been an integral piece of the puzzle as AcadiaSoft has progressed from a small startup to an industry leader in margin automation. As the Director of MarginSphere, Mr. Peterson has maintained a secure, highly available, and reliable platform while incorporating the regulatory changes that drive AcadiaSoft’s growth. Prior to joining AcadiaSoft, Mr. Peterson played a crucial role at Radius Partners (and subsequently FundTech) where he led the TradePLUS project in the post-trade securities processing space.
Joe holds Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Bridgewater State University located in Bridgewater, MA.
Andrew Yahner is the Integration Development Manager for AcadiaSoft. Mr. Yahner has been leading international software projects for over 15 years in the financial services industry. He was instrumental in forming the original AcadiaSoft development department through its inception.Previously, Mr. Yahner served as Director of Software Development at FundTech Securities where he formed and focused multiple international teams across multiple financial securities products.Prior to working at FundTech, Mr. Yahner was the Principal Software Developer and International Team Lead for Firepond, a multinational Business Rules Engine provider for multiple vertical markets including Healthcare, Automotive, and Aerospace.
Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Jayne Goldman has been with Acadiasoft since 2010 and is the Manager of the QA Team and the Lead Quality Assurance Analyst for Acadiasoft. Her current focus at Acadiasoft is testing a new user interface for MarginSphere and integration of new workflows to support the Dispute Resolution process. She has twenty five years of experience in computer systems including planning, analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation. Over these twenty five years, she has worked for both large and small global companies including John Hancock Financial Services, Fundtech Corporation and Ariett Business Solutions. Each company has provided the opportunity for her to utilize different technologies including IBM COBOL Mainframe systems and web-based systems. She also has experience leading large projects including the Year 2000 conversion and an IPO effort for John Hancock when it went public.
Jayne graduated from Wheaton College in Norton, MA where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in liberal arts with a major in Mathematics and Economics while working in the campus computer center.
Howard has served as Chairman of REDI Holdings, LLC since February 2014.
Previously, Howard was Chairman and CEO of BondDesk Group, a leading electronic bond trading venue for retail investors that was acquired by TradeWeb in October 2013. Before that, he led a turnaround of NYFIX following its delisting by NASDAQ, ultimately resulting in the sale of the company to NYSE Euronext in 2009. Earlier, Howard was President and CEO of Radianz, which he helped grow into a leading market infrastructure provider that is now part of BT Group. In the late 1990s, as CEO of Thomson Financial ESG, Howard oversaw the creation of the first competitive market for U.S. trade confirmation services before merging the company with the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp. (DTCC) to form Omgeo.In addition to REDI, Howard currently serves on the Boards of Alacra and AcadiaSoft. He is a strategic advisor to Algomi as well as an equity investor.
A graduate of the City University of New York, Howard holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering/Information Sciences from Stanford University.
